Can you say busy?

The last two weeks have been very busy for me, with putting together a production team for "Focused" T.V. What's "Focused" T.V? Just your source for what's new @ M.S.U (Morgan State University), which should be aired in the near future.

I've also been do shows with B4R, Ayo, and Greg The Birdman, starting with a quick warm up @ Warm Wednesday's @ The 5 Seasons located on 830 Guilford Ave, then a feature at Jim Ferrell's event " Blessing The Art" which is every last monday of the month @ The Yabba Pot, located @ 2433 Saint Paul St. Baltimore, M.D, yada yada etc.... Thursday we hit up Kappa Poetry Korner hosted by Tone Beeze and the brothers of Kappa Alphi Psi and featured along side Mr. Read A Book, P.G County's Bomani Armah and of course we made it do what it do, but that goes without sayin.... Friday was another exciting night as me and B4R got a taste of The Reserve @ Sound Sense 2010 hosted by Total Concepts, LLC. We enjoyed a variety of performances ranging from smooth sets of Jazz, to a multi-talented rapper/musician by the name of Fuzzy G, and a cover band with lead vocalist J. Millz who took us all around the world with their set.

The Elite is also picking up steam, as we prepare for another semester of great events, starting with "What More Can I Say" The Open Mic for Open Minds, hosted by The Elite in collaboration with Phi Betta Sigma, and will be held March 19th, 2010 @ M.S.U's Student Center Theatre, for more info hit us up @ thehiphopelite@gmail.com . On March 29th The Elite will assist the fellas of S.M.O.O.T.H in facilitating a Hip Hop Forum and we encourage you to attend and speak your mind on the hot topics presented.

Another time consuming activity has been shooting for the "Lights Out" music video, directed by Ill Wyll (Will Mckinely) and Mr. Sliq ( Andrew Steffan) alumni and undergrad with sharp minds and even sharper vision. Lights Out, featuring Mazon from Harrisburg P.A, is a gritty look at the exposed minds of two artists as they boldly face the world. During the first shoot we almost froze while shooting, but fortunately we made it through and despite the hood drama we witnessed, was great. Definitely look out for the debut of the video really soon.

And last, but not least, I've been keeping up with classes, since I am a student of M.S.U, and do take my education seriously, but anyway that's whats been going on with ya rhapsodist, thanks for checkin me out and definitely stop by again soon.....
