The secret to opening a jar....

So i'm sitting at the computer and my grandmom asks me if I knew the secret to opening a jar. Me being so literal, I stop what I was watching, took my headphones off and took a couple of seconds to observe the jar of pasta sauce. I chuckled as I began to ask her " you said the secret to opening the jar, right?". She responded with a nod and I answered her " the secret of opening a jar is to break it, now closing the jar is a whole nother story!, and that's not my department." She immediately began to laugh and when she finally stopped she said " you have officially given me my laugh of the day" and continued to prepare dinner. As I turned back to the computer laughing to myself I felt proud. You might ask why? I feel proud because as a struggling college student, Xmas has become the time of the year where i feel foolish for asking for presents because i'm old enough to provide means for my own desires, but since i don't have a steady paying job making that reality for myself and others is a bit difficult as you can imagine, however it gets deeper. After a short silence she asks me if i minded her sharing that moment with some friends, and of course I say yes. It didn't dawn on me until I began to continue my youtubing that this will probably stay in her heart and memories more than anything I could buy her.... I made her smile for free.... So I say all that to say if we made each other smile and laugh once a day, life would be a little better, as for me, i'm greatfull that I could do that for her...

So it's pretty much official that yours truly, along with B4R will be hitting Miami during our Xmas break from the 7th to the 17th for some feature performances, and i'm kinda anxious to get down there, especially with the fresh snow in Bmore lol. Last time we went down I didn't do a good job of updating the blog, so this time while we're down there I will be taping a couple of the performances and some other extra curricular activities ( take it how ever you want to lol), so definitely look out for the footage from our Xmas Break in Miami series.

Never Can Say Goodbye Mixdown

You won't believe what 50 told me! Well.... you might, but what's funny about it is that it's old news, or better yet, classic news. Baby-Moma Drama aside, 50 cent takes this Jackson 5 samples and shows you exactly how he feels, or sings it rather lol.... do enjoy....

So Ambitious Mixdown

This banger from The Blueprint 3 takes me way back...... back down memory lane that is, with Ms. Minnie Riperton. Kanye, once again, throws up another classic sample and Jigga throws it down, as we all expect him to.... Enjoy.....

That's Enough Yo!

So just a thought but I think it's ridiculous how we suddenly see Obama's face everywhere.... Even on party fliers! It's crazy how everyone wants to use his face and his family's as icons, but why? What purpose does it serve beyond showing everyone who you are a fan of? Is it that serious? I mean don't get me wrong, for the sake of my grandparents sanity I'm glad to see an African American in office, but to be honest I don't care about the color, I care about what he's going to do and how he plans to help americans help themselves, because it's obvious that one man cannot do it by himself. I've tried to reserve my opinion but ever since Obama-Mania began it seems like ppl seemed more focused on his personal life rather than his plans and policies for this country. I guess all i'm saying is that it's ridiculous for ppl to profit from his images, whether they sincerely care about the man's policies or not... Get it together ppl... and just for fun go and research how much was spent on his Inauguration ball...
